Service Learning

Service learning is an essential part of our curriculum, providing students with opportunities to engage in meaningful and impactful service projects. As a Sacred Heart school, we emphasize the importance of a social awareness that impels to action. Our service learning program promotes personal and social responsibility, self-reflection, and community engagement.

Our students have the opportunity to work with a variety of community organizations and engage in service projects both locally and globally. Through these experiences, students develop empathy, compassion, and a deeper understanding of the world around them.

Our service learning program is integrated into our curriculum, providing students with opportunities to apply their learning to real-world situations. Students are encouraged to reflect on their experiences and the impact they have made, allowing them to develop a sense of purpose and responsibility for creating positive change in the world.

We believe that service learning is an essential component of a well-rounded education, and we are committed to providing our students with the skills, knowledge, and experiences they need to become compassionate and engaged citizens.

Community Service

Community Service at Princeton Academy is based on Sacred Heart Goal 3, a social awareness that impels to action. As a result of this goal, community service is ingrained in the fabric of our mission and is not just a one-day occurrence. Often, service initiatives are student driven and always widely supported by all members of the school community. Students are involved in service both for the Princeton Academy community and the surrounding Princeton-area at large, with many of the activities created, designed and implemented by the boys themselves under faculty guidance. Princeton Academy also maintains partnerships with local non-profit organizations such as Homefront, Trenton Area Soup Kitchen, Community FoodBank of New Jersey, SAVE Animal Shelter, Good Grief and others.

MLK Day of Service

Each year, Princeton Academy partners with its sister school, Stuart Country Day School for a Day of Service in honor of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. Day.
