Hawks Advance to Quartefinals at US Squash Middle School Championships

The Princeton Academy of the Sacred Heart Squash Team qualified to compete at the US Squash Middle School Championships from Friday, February 2 to Sunday, February 4, 2024 at the Arlen Specter US Squash Center in Philadelphia, PA.

In the Boys’ Division I Round of 16, Princeton Academy was the 8 seed and defeated the 9 seed Brunswick B 5-0 with individual wins by Jonathan X. ‘24 (3-0), Yidrew C. ‘24 (3-0), Andrew C. ‘24 (3-0,Jayden L. ‘25 (3-1), and Allen C. ‘24 (3-0).

The Hawks then advanced to the National Quarterfinals and lost a tight 3-2 match to the 1 Seed Haverford School. Jonathan and Yidrew picked up big wins while Andrew, Jayden, and Yiden C. ‘27 fought hard against the top ranked middle school team in the nation. This is the fourth consecutive year that the PASH Squash Team has advanced to the US Squash Boys’ Division I National Quarterfinal.
