On Wednesday, February 6, Princeton Lavender visited Princeton Academy and presented to our Lower School students about the benefits of lavender. Co-owner Beth Smith highlighted how lavender can be utilized in everyday life and shared other fun facts with the boys. After her presentation, each boy received one piece of colored paper to serve as a placemat. The placemat was used for each boy to collect the "buds" that they pulled off of the dried lavender stalks brought from Smith's farm. Each boy created a lavender sachet to take home. Hawk Hall certainly never smelled so aromatic!
