On Friday, October 5, Princeton Academy of the Sacred Heart celebrated Founders Day. There are profound historic visionaries from the past who have shaped the mission and philosophy by which our school was founded, and we are blessed to have visionaries who walk among us. We welcomed our Founders to campus to celebrate and honor 20 years of bringing out the best in boys. In October of 1998, Princeton Academy was incorporated as a Sacred Heart school for boys.
Headmaster Rik Dugan said, "Today we honor those whose vision built our mission, which drives our purpose today more than ever before. We stand on the shoulders of courageous giants, allowing us to see well beyond the horizon and inspiring us to soar with heart." Dugan continued, "We are blessed to be among those whose courageous ideals brought about a school devoted to developing creative, compassionate and courageous young men to be leaders of a just society; one that is today committed to forming a generation of enlightened men."
Founding families, trustees and teachers joined Headmaster Rik Dugan for lunch followed by a moving conversation with eighth-grade students. Founders were then led on a tour of our Sacred Spaces and finished with a special One School Friday Thank Yous in the MACC.
It was a great day full of Princeton Academy spirit... Go HAWKS!
