Students in Grades 5-8 displayed their in-depth research as part of an annual social studies project. Students completed a trifold full of facts and gathered in the William E. Simon Chapel Library to present an oral account in full costume of their research subject – Grade 5 presented on Ancient Egypt, Grade 6 presented Greek and Roman Gods, Grade 7 presented figures from United States history and Grade 8 presented Goal III projects which focused on a social awareness which impels to action. Students in eighth grade chose a global issue and some chose a United Nations Sustainable Development Goal.
LS students, all faculty and staff, and parents were invited to two sessions of presentations for Grades 5 and 6 and Grades 7 and 8.
