Fund for Princeton Academy

Independent schools are not dependent upon government support and therefore, rely on income from tuition and voluntary contributions to support the school’s operating expenses. The Fund for Princeton Academy is the only ongoing, annual fundraising activity that touches every member of the Princeton Academy community. It is a yearly effort to raise money that is spent in the current year to pay for the day-to-day operating expenses not covered by tuition. In other words, the Fund goes straight to the bottom line to help balance the general operating budget.

The Fund provides one of the largest sources of “unrestricted” or flexible dollars for current use during the year in the areas that the school needs it most. These include academic initiatives and enhancements, library resources, technology upgrades, arts and athletic supplies, academic buildings and grounds maintenance, co-curricular and community service activities. Your gift has a direct and immediate impact on the education of all Princeton Academy students.

Princeton Academy relies on the generosity of the entire school community - including trustees, parents, grandparents, alumni, parents of alumni, faculty, staff, friends and foundations to support the cost of educating every Princeton Academy student. The Fund for Princeton Academy is one of the primary sources of income for our school. Because the Fund subsidizes the yearly operating budget, the school depends on everyone to participate every year.

And a high percentage of participation is just as crucial as the actual dollars raised. We are a small community, which means that when you make a gift to Princeton Academy, its impact is immediate!

Gifts can be made at any time. The Fund year runs concurrently with the school’s fiscal year, from July 1 through June 30. Princeton Academy is a 501 (c) 3 non-profit organization. All donations are tax-deductible to the fullest extent allowed by law.
