| PAPA Fat Tuesday Dinner a Success | Nearly 100 people attended Princeton Academy's Fat Tuesday event on February 28. Marianne Seabert, the treasurer for PAPA, said the annual pasta dinner raised $310 to help support a student at our sister Sacred Heart school in Uganda. | A Glimpse of Life at Princeton Academy | Kindergarten Celebrates Read Across America Day Kindergarten celebrated Dr. Seuss' birthday and Read Across America Day with pajamas, pancakes and a special reading from Coach Clewell of Dr. Seuss' I Am Not Going to Get Up Today. Grade 2 Celebrates 100th Day of School Students in second grade celebrated the 100th day of school with many activities including reading a variety of books about the topic. Grade 6 Spanish Wax Museum Students in sixth grade presented their study of historical figures for their Spanish Wax Museum project. MS Student Wins Fifth Place at Math League Competition A big congratulations to MS student Walter D. '17 for winning fifth place among all eighth grade students at the recent Math League competition held at the Pingry School. Grade 5 STEAM Project In honor of 100 days of school, students were given 1 cup, 60 pieces of spaghetti and 39 marshmallows and were challenged with building the tallest tower possible. As a result, the tallest tower was over 1 meter tall! English 7 Reads Secret Life of Bees English 7 prepares for their reading of the Secret Life of Bees with presentations about honeybees, hives and beekeeping. As a dominant theme of the novel, it will be helpful to have these visuals in mind as they begin reading. |
