Announcing the Fund-a-Need for Gala 2019: The Soaring 20s

Joanna Dugan

Help PASH Say YES!

I am often asked at this time of year, “if there is one way we can help, what would it be?” For me, the answer is simple and clear: help Princeton Academy say “yes” to families who are looking for the best possible educational and formative experience for their kindergarten to grade 8 sons. We are blessed because collectively, as a Sacred Heart community, I know that we want to say “yes” and provide all boys and young men who seek to live the mission of our school with the financial accessibility to do so.

Two years ago, our community joined together to build a shared vision for the future of Princeton Academy by engaging in an inclusive strategic planning process that yielded Epic Vision: Soaring with Heart. On Visioning Day, December 3, 2016, statements were put forth with overwhelming affirmation from our community members in support of prioritizing financial accessibility. Here are two examples of participants’ statements articulating dreams from that inspiring day:

  • By 2021, Princeton Academy of the Sacred Heart will be a need-blind school with a vibrant and diverse community whose graduates inspire positive change in our world.
  • By 2021, Princeton Academy will maximize and increase our resources to ensure financial stability and accessibility.

I am proud to announce the Fund-a-Need for this year’s Soaring 20s Gala is focused on providing financial access to our mission-driven, values-based, boy-centered, Sacred Heart experience.

Our mission is a cause. The more boys who grow through a PASH experience, the better. The result: better men and in turn, a better world. As we gather to celebrate 20 years of bringing out the best in boys and developing young men to be creative, compassionate and courageous leaders, let us come together to provide a Princeton Academy education to as many boys as possible!

Inspired and with gratitude,

  • 20th anniversary
  • access
  • Fund-a-Need
  • Gala 2019
  • Princeton Academy experience
