First graders visited their sixth grade prayer buddies this week to learn about making paper from papyrus. The boys visited the green house, where the sixth grade had planted papyrus. After harvesting some papyrus, all returned to the sixth grade classroom where the social studies classes demonstrated the art of paper-making. Both grades are studying Egypt in class.

5th and 6th grade Spanish classes recently created dioramas representing their ideal bedrooms. All items in Mi Dormitorio Ideal were labeled in Espanol.

The second Opus Avenue performance was held on Wednesday during lower school assembly and featured a strong array of musical talents displayed by some of our kindergarten and first grade students. Opus Avenue concerts provide an opportunity for students who are involved in the private study of a musical instrument to perform for their classmates and teachers.
