Princeton Academy of the Sacred Heart welcomed Sacred Heart visitors from our sister school, Sacred Heart Primary School in Uganda. Sister Lucy Toror, RCSJ and Sister Annet Nankusu, RCSJ spent the day visiting classes and were hosted by the Middle School Student Council.

The four designated papermakers in each 6th grade section of social studies harvested the papyrus that they have been growing in the greenhouse. The weeklong process to turn papyrus into paper is underway with demonstrations planned for the 5th grade and 1st grade classes.

The junior kindergarten has a new member of their class: Snowy the beta fish. If you look closely, you can see him in his bowl. The class also circulated a survey among students and faculty asking whether they prefer to wear mittens or gloves in the winter time. Mr. Kalkus was happy to participate and filled out his form right away! The class will collect the data, count the responses, and post the preferred choice on their door.
