Week in Review 11-13-09

November 11, 2009

This week the second grade boys presented the Sacred Heart goal of a deep respect for intellectual values, which in more child-friendly language they presented as think, imagine, create. They did this by making tableaus, where the action was frozen. The people in the audience closed their eyes as the boys got into their positions, then opened them to see the frozen scene before them.

The second grade also decorated and then filled bags with candy for the Trenton Rescue Mission. Our theme was smiling faces.

The third grade sold pretzels at lunch time to support Operation Open Heart Helps to Heal a Hurting Heart, a project to raise funds for a local family in need.

The 7th graders are making solar ovens, designing future cities based on sustainability, and researching cars of the future as part of their Each1 Teach1 project.
