The second grade visited Sandy Hook this past week and toured Fort Hancock and then the nature center, where they learned about the marine life of the Gateway National Seashore.

The 8th grade filmed scenes from books they read this year, including Julius Caesar.

The 5th grade CSI teams are solving the case of the murder of Dr. Bunny Beeker, using the scientific method process to analyze the evidence. Who did it? The CSI chief (Mrs. Humora) will reveal the answer on Friday.

Mr. Knott and Mr. Luis served as Lower and Middle School Heads for a Day this week. They were busy attending meetings with various administrators, teaching classes, and making important decision such as dress-down day and no-homework night proclamations.

The 5th grade went to Philadelphia on their class trip recently, visiting the Franklin Institute, the Firemen's Museum, and everyone's favorite, the Duck Tour.

7th and 8th grade science classes studied solar power this year and built cars using solar panels to power them. The race was on outside as the cars made their way down the driveway.

The 3rd grades shared their poetry with each other this week. Their poems were written about different rain forest animals they had studied.

The middle school Wax Museum was well attended by parents, faculty, and students. 7th & 8th grades prepared reports on various US historical figures, including presidents and famous individuals who had made history in other arenas. The 5th & 6th grades presented figures tied to their studies of Greek, Roman, and Chinese history.
