Week in Review 2-12-09

After much fanfare, the tip-off for the highly anticipated All Star Faculty v Parents basketball game happened right on time last Friday evening. With the Hawk on hand, the game began. Family Night Out was a huge success, thanks to athletic director, Paul Clewell and the Kurowski's, who won the event at last year's spring gala. The middle school sold refreshments, and the student council president called the game. This year the event was expanded and was a fun night for families. Scroll down to see some game highlights, half-time contests for the kids, and yes, the final score. Parents prevailed, and everyone had a good time!
The second grade spent time learning how to paint Chinese characters this week.
The 5th and 6th grade English classes spent time writing poetry this month under the guidance of Mrs. Betty Lies.
