New Trustees Appointed to Board

Princeton Academy of the Sacred Heart is pleased to announce the election of five new trustees to the school's Board of Trustees.

Christine D. Berk of Belle Mead is an early childhood educator who has taught at Blawenburg Village Preschool, Time Out at the Montgomery United Methodist Church, and Camden County College. She is a member of the Montgomery United Methodist Church Administrative Council where she also sits on the Staff Parish Relations Committee. Ms. Berk is a member of the fundraising committee of Global Communities of Support, a Montgomery Township-based charity committed to serving young adults with autism and other disabilities. Ms. Berk earned a BS degree in speech pathology from Trenton State College. She and her husband, Rick have two children, Lauren, a recent graduate of Princeton Day School, and Evan, who will enter sixth grade at Princeton Academy of the Sacred Heart.

Margaret Patricia Schorr is a Sacred Heart school alumna, having graduated from The Convent of the Sacred Heart, Eden Hall, in Torresdale, PA. She is the former head of lower school at Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart, where she served in that capacity for twenty-two years. In addition, Ms. Schorr is a trustee at The Village Charter School in Trenton, where she chairs the education committee. She earned a BA in English from Boston College and a MEd in Guidance and Counseling from Sul Ross State University in Texas. She and her husband, David, live in Princeton.

Carrie Anne Vinch is an environmental project manager for Ryder System, Inc. specializing in environmental capital projects. She earned a BS in Manufacturing Engineering from Boston University and a MS in Environmental Engineering from the University of Arkansas. A resident of Lawrenceville, she has two children; Caleb, who is in the sixth grade at Princeton Academy of the Sacred Heart, and a daughter, Catie, who is in the second grade at Lawrenceville Elementary School.

Ruth M. Williams is a former faculty member and director of the pre-school at Stuart Country Day School of the Sacred Heart, where she served in those capacities for 28 years. She is a past chair of the board of trustees at University League Nursery School. A founding trustee at Princeton Academy of the Sacred Heart, Ms. Williams returns to the board and will work on several board committees, including enrollment management and marketing. She and her husband, Frank Kenny, reside in Princeton Junction.

Patrick R. Young is the President for Small Group and Middle Markets for the Mid-Atlantic region of Aetna. In addition to his board responsibilities at Princeton Academy, he serves on several boards of local non-profit organizations, including the executive committee of the Lower Bucks County Chapter of the American Red Cross, the PenJerDel Council, The Philadelphia chapter of the American Diabetes Association, and New Hope - Solebury Pop Warner Football. He earned a BA in Public Management from the University of Maine. He and his wife, Cynthia, live in Solebury, Pennsylvania with their son, Alexander, who is entering third grade at Princeton Academy of the Sacred Heart.
