The 4th grade social studies class continued their studies of the Revolutionary War and the colonial period with a special guest lecture from author Carolyn Yoder, who spoke to the classes about her newly edited book on the writings of John Adams.

Read Across America Day was celebrated throughout the lower school this week. The kindergarten came to school in PJs and brought their favorite blanket. Reading their favorite books together was followed by a pancake breakfast prepared by parents.

The 2nd grades have been studying about the great Emperor Penguins and spent all day Thursday being Emperor Penguin Dads. They carried their eggs around with them all day long.
