Cynthia Ramsay, grandmother of Max '12, visited the fourth grade classes to talk about her experiences working as a staff writer at National Geographic.
The Halloween candy drive produced 4,550 pieces of candy and the fifth grades sorted it into 182 gift bags, which will be distributed to local shelters and food pantries.

The third and fourth grades were treated to a special assembly presented by the Princeton Bravo Symphony. The boys enjoyed music performed by the brass quintet and will have the opportunity to attend a performance of the full symphony this spring at Princeton University's Richardson Auditorium.
At the MS sports assembly on Thursday, the soccer A & B teams as well as the cross country team were recognized for their hard work during the 2007 season. The soccer A team presented a trophy to Mr. Kalkus in recognition of the team's first place finish in the Lewis Invitational tournament. Mr. Kalkus presented the trophy to athletic director, Paul Clewell for placement in the trophy case. The A team finished the season with an undefeated record of 8-0-1. The B team had a very successful season learning how to work together. Coach Jenkins noted that the team was comprised mostly of 5th & 6th grade students and the team played opponents whose teams were primarily 7th & 8th grade students. He expects to see them improve next season.
The cross country team finished an undefeated season with a record of 9-0. Of particular note was the team's season ending performance at the Ed Scott Invitational, hosted by Pingry. 2 Princeton Academy runners finished in the top 5. CONGRATULATIONS HAWKS!
