MIDDLE SCHOOL TRIPS

The fifth grade traveled to Philadelphia last week and visited many interesting places, including the Penn's landing Seaport, King Tut Exhibit at the Franklin Institute, the Firemen's Museum, and everyone's favorite: the duck tour!

The 7th grades went to historic Gettysburg National Military Park and learned about America's struggle to survive as a nation.

The eighth grade spent two days in Washington DC and toured the White House, the Supreme Court, met with Congressman Mike Ferguson, and did the traditional "Headmaster's Walk"- a night time walking tour of the Mall and all of its monuments- led by Mr. Kalkus.

CINCO de MAYO
Lower school students celebrated Cinco de Mayo with music, costumes, dancing, and singing.

CELEBRATION OF THE ARTS
Parents and families enjoyed strolling through the hallways admiring student art work and listening to performances by small groups. The 8th grade mural was presented by the Class of 2007. Thanks to all for such a fun and successful evening.

MOTHER'S DAY TEA
The kindergarten classes hosted very special guests this week for Mother's Day Tea. The boys recounted their year together in poetry and song, and ended with a very special song for their moms.

FIRST GRADE PLAY
The First Grades' production of The Pied Piper was fabulous! The production, complete with advertising, scenery, costumes, acting, speaking, and a post-show Q&A, was very entertaining. Congratulations to all on an outstanding play!
