The 4th grades have undertaken "Project Easter Baskets" as their service project. "Project Easter Baskets" will provide Easter baskets to needy children in our local communities. To support this project, they have planned a Family Fun Event for Lower School students and their families on February 25th from 2-4pm. Click to download a registration form for the FAMILY FUN EVENT.
Princeton Academy has opened its own branch of the Post Office and it lives in the JK classroom. The JK student are selling "stamps", posting the mail, and delivering it.
The kindergarten classes are studying dinosaurs. In order to appreciate how tall dinosaurs were, the students used helium balloons and string on a board. They released the string, which was wrapped around a board, to the height of the dinosaurs and then stepped back to see how high the balloon was. It was a great way to illustrate the size of dinosaurs.
The second grade made twirly birds from straw and paper and dropped them from the balcony to watch them twirl to the ground. This was an experiment in conjunction with a science lesson on balance.
The boys love to read and especially love it when a dad comes in to read a favorite book to the group. If you would like to read to your son's class, please contact his teacher to set up a time!
Princeton University men's soccer coaches conducted a soccer clinic for Princeton Academy boys last Saturday. PU head coach Jim Barlow and assistant coaches Arron Lujan and Tom Moffat worked with the boys on individual skills. The clinic was free to any Princeton Academy boy that registered to attend.
The Princeton Academy Variety Show is coming up soon- February 20th- and the band is busy rehearsing. Is there a guest conductor?
