Week in Review 01-05-07

Before Christmas break, the fourth grade enjoyed a special science class that allowed them to study food additives and their effect on how foods taste. The groups created their own icing flavor and frosted vanilla wafers with it. Mr. Cox was the lucky judge that tasted all of the cookies!


Each year Princeton Academy welcomes artist and muralist David Serotkin who comes to work on a wall mural with the 8th grade. This year's class has chosen sports as the theme of their mural, which should be completed by January 12th.


The end of Christmas break and the beginning of the New Year brought 235 boys back to Princeton Academy and they were ready to learn and play! Temperatures in the 50's and 60's assured a fun time at recess.


The 4th grade Spanish classes presented the play, "Pastorela" just before Christmas.



The middle school woodshop club is making step stools in the shop.

Princeton Academy said good-bye today to 5th & 6th grade social studies teacher Mr. East, who is moving to Michigan with his family. The Middle School students presented cards and remembrances to him at Assembly today. Mr. Kalkus and Mrs. Humora thanked him for his many contributions to Princeton Academy, both in and out of the classroom. In the words of the boys, "You're the best!" Mr. East, we wish you well and hope you will come back to visit.
