Lower School Curriculum

An experienced faculty, small classes, and an emphasis on active learning characterize education at Princeton Academy. The faculty's sensitivity to the learning styles of boys ensures that the coursework addresses their needs. The low student-faculty ratio facilitates attention to each child's talents. From the youngest students in junior kindergarten to those preparing to move on to the Middle School, the curriculum offers an education tailored for boys.

Courses are offered in religion, language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, health, and physical education. Spanish language instruction begins in junior kindergarten and meets four times each week beginning in first grade. Music, drama and the visual arts meet separately and are also integrated into core coursework.
