Princeton Academy won a 2017 Silver InspirED School Marketers Brilliance Award this week for its new athletic logo in the national competition that recognizes excellence in private and independent school marketing and communications sponsored by InspirED School Marketers, a website that provides "brilliant ideas and brain food" for private school administrators around the globe. The entries were judged by a panel of 66 experts who are professionals in peer schools or businesses that specialize in school marketing and were scored on creativity, impact, design, copy, photography and overall appeal.
Princeton Academy's athletic logo prominently features a hawk, the school's mascot, in the school's distinctive blue and green. This is the first official athletic logo for Princeton Academy which was founded in 1998. Director of Athletics Paul Clewell said, "This is a very exciting time for our athletic program. We wear the Hawk with pride and honor our Sacred Heart goals in all that we do." Clewell continued, "When we were designing the logo we were very intentional about this and that is why the Hawk's eye is actually a stylized Sacred Heart."
The logo was designed by Abbie Moore Design in collaboration with Director of Athletics Paul Clewell and Communications Associate Joanna Dugan.
