For both the Lower School (grades JK to 4th) and the Middle School, leave the request when with the nurse.
Lower School students arriving late (after 8:00 am) need to be signed in by an adult at the front desk. Late arriving Middle School students can sign in at the front desk as well.
For the Lower School (grades JK to 4th) call Jeanine Gottschling at (609) 921-1876. For the Middle School (grades 5th to 8th) call Jen Hewins at (609) 921-1835
If your son is going home with another student for a play date after school, we need a note from you giving us permission to release your son to the care of the other parent/guardian. There is no bus transportation available for play dates.
For the Lower School (grades JK to 4th) call Jeanine Gottschling at (609) 921-1876. For the Middle School (grades 5th to 8th) call Jen Hewins at (609) 921-1835
Yes, Lower School provides a selection of pretzels, goldfish, graham crackers, animal crackers, etc., as midmorning snacks for the students. You may want to pack a drink for your son to have with his snack.
If we are notified early enough, we'll call you and see if you can bring the lunch to school. If not, we do have emergency supplies on hand.
The lower school boys are sent to the "after-school" program if they are not picked up by 3:15pm. The after-school program meets in the cafeteria and then typically goes to the playground, or during inclement weather, to another location. The receptionist in the main building can help you locate your son. There is a fee for after-school care. Middle school boys are sent to Homework Club in the library.
Lower School Lost and Found is located in the cafeteria. Middle School Lost and Found is located on the third floor, near the Used Uniform Closet.
Email is very efficient. All faculty e mail addresses are: firstinitial followed by lastname@princetonacademy.org. For example, John Smith's email address would be jsmith@princetonacademy.org. You can also leave a message with Jeanine Gottschling for Lower School teachers and Jen Hewins for Middle School teachers. For a complete list of faculty and staff, click here.
The dress uniform for Princeton Academy consists of a white interlocken polo shirt and khaki pants. You may include a Lands' End Princeton Academy navy sweater or Princeton Academy vest. For details see our web page on School Uniforms.
