The Princeton Academy Parent Association is commonly known as PAPA. It has several main goals:
PAPA serves to facilitate opportunities for the parents and students to socialize; participate in school wide events and to support the school through various fundraising activities. We are always interested in talking to anyone who would like to help out with any of our activities, so if you would like to volunteer, please contact us by email. Our two VP's for Volunteers are listed in the Committee Roles list. Some of the activities that you could participate in are chairing or assisting at any of our events; or on a smaller scale, participating in individual class projects/events, and /or chaperoning on field trips.
Many of our activities are purely for fun, these include school picnics, spring bulb planting, father/son events, monthly parent coffees, parents-only cocktail parties and the annual Princeton Academy of the Sacred Heart/Stuart Country Day School Breakfast with Santa. Stuart Country Day school is our sister school, located a mile down the Great Road. Along with Stuart and many of the other independent schools in the area, PAPA holds membership in the Common Ground Organization, which hosts internationally renowned speakers in one of our local schools free of charge.
Some of our activities double as fundraisers. Among our many fundraising activities, we feature Sally Foster Wrapping Paper and Gifts; Book fairs; a Spring Candy Fundraiser; and Princeton Academy Apparel, featuring baseball hats, youth and adult T-shirts/sweatshirts, tote bags, water bottles and Christmas ornaments.
Thank you for your interest in the Princeton Academy Parent Association. Please feel free to contact us with your questions.
