The Annual Fund
The Annual Fund program is an annual fundraising activity that touches every member of the Princeton Academy community. Every Princeton Academy family is asked to participate in the Annual Fund. Gifts from current parents support faculty and staff salaries and professional development programs, all academic departments and curricula, technology including equipment and education, music and performing arts, all areas of athletics, facility maintenance, and financial aid.
Contributions to the Annual Fund directly support the operating budget to meet the everyday expenses of running the school. Tuition does not cover the full cost of a Princeton Academy education. The Annual Fund program bridges the gap between tuition payments and the operating expenses of the School. When you give to the Annual Fund, you give to the people, the programs, and the place.

Why should I give to the Annual Fund?
Participation in the Annual Fund program is a show of support that demonstrates your commitment to Princeton Academy. Annual Fund dollars and participation become especially important when Princeton Academy seeks foundation and corporate support. Those who review our grant applications want to see strong support from parents (and alumni) before they commit to the school financially. A high percentage of participation is just as crucial as the actual dollar amount raised.
How much should I give to the Annual Fund?
As individual financial situations vary so do gifts to the Annual Fund. Only you can decide the amount that is appropriate for you; regardless of the amount, each and every gift is important. This year, the gap between income and expenses per student amounts to approximately $1,000. Some people like to regard their gift to the Annual Fund as the portion of the real cost of educating their child that is tax deductible! We hope that every member of our school community will participate to the extent possible for them.
Does Princeton Academy accept gifts from Corporate Matching Gifts Programs?
Yes. Many companies will match charitable gifts to independent schools. Your employer's personnel or human resources department can provide you with the required forms. This is an important and easy way to double and sometimes triple the value of your gift to the Annual Fund.
Should volunteers who contribute their time also support the Annual Fund?
Parents who volunteer at Princeton Academy are integral to the success of our school and we are truly grateful for all that they do. But regardless of the other contributions parents may make to the school, the Annual Fund should be a priority for each family.
